Bryce Nielson DMD

“As my patient, you can expect a warm, welcoming smile each time you come in, and the most up-to-date treatment tailored to your needs and personal situation. I love what I do, and I hope you feel the passion I have for helping you with your oral health needs.”

Dr. Nielson was born and raised in Arizona. His passion for outdoors and friendly communities brought him to Colorado. He enjoys spending his spare time outdoors with his beautiful wife and four kids camping, hiking, mountain biking, and OCR racing.

 

Ryan Rush DMD

Dr. Rush was born and raised in Erie Pennsylvania, he moved to Fort Lauderdale Florida after graduating high school to attend Nova Southeastern University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then attended Temple University in Philadelphia where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine.

Dr. Rush then joined the Army where he served 2 years in South Korea and 2 years at Fort Carson, Colorado.

In his free time he likes to spend time with his family, which includes his wife Miriam and 3 year old son Ronan. His interests are digital dentistry and providing the best patient experience possible.

Amanda Tompkins DDS

Dr. Amanda Tompkins was born and raised in Fountain, Colorado. After graduating from Fountain-Fort Carson High School, she attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas for her bachelor’s degree, majoring in Spanish and Biology. She then returned to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2017. During dental school she met and married one of her classmates, Dr. Adam Vega. Ironically enough, she and Adam lived only about a mile apart from each other while they were growing up. Timing really is everything!

Like any native Coloradan, Dr. Tompkins loves the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She and Adam also love to travel, especially to tropical and adventure destinations.

Dr. Tompkins also LOVES dogs, and she and her husband have a chiweenie named Finn and a silver lab named Elsa who they adore!

Dr. Tompkins believes that orthodontics is more than just straightening teeth. Improving someone’s smile can truly be life-changing, and she takes great pride in building relationships with each of her patients in order to provide them with the best possible care. She works hard to ensure that all of her patients achieve the smile they have always wanted!

Yoolim Kim DMD

Dr. Yoolim Kim moved to Colorado in 2015 from northwest suburb of Chicago.  In 2001, she graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in general biology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2006 from Southern Illinois University – School of Dental Medicine. In 2009, Dr. Kim completed her 3 year surgical residency in periodontics and implant surgery. During her residency, Dr. Kim conducted research on dental extractions and bone grafting. Upon completion of her research, she defended her thesis and was awarded a Master of Science in Dental Research degree from St. Louis University.

Dr. Kim is an assistant professor at University of Colorado – School of Dental Medicine in the department of surgical dentistry.  Dr. Kim served as faculty in the department of periodontics at Southern Illinois University – School of Dental Medicine for 3 years. She has educated dentists and hygienists about periodontal medicine and implant therapy. Dr. Kim has also served as a faculty instructor in periodontics for the dental hygiene program at Parkland Community College. Her passion for knowledge and education is further reflected in her participation at several continuing education courses annually. She remains very active in the dental community through her humanitarian work as well.

Dr. Kim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She achieved her board certification in 2010. Dr. Kim maintains membership in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, International Team for Implantology, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Association, and Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists.

In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and has worked with Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM), Illinois Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile and the Jamaican Dental Mission Service. She also enjoys going to the movies, attending performing arts productions, traveling to visit family and friends, exploring Colorado and neighboring states, and exploring National Parks.

Thomas Wright DMD

Dr. Wright was born and raised in South Texas and attended college at Baylor University where he majored in Biology with a pre-healthcare focus. He then attended Midwestern University, Dr. Wright was born and raised in South Texas and attended college at Baylor University where he majored in Biology with a pre-healthcare focus. He then attended Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine in Arizona with an Air Force Health Professions Scholarship. He graduated dental school with multiple awards, high honors and was accepted to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training with the Air Force. 

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Wright entered active duty with the US Air Force and was stationed at Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland, TX. This is where he would continue his postgraduate education by completing his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) at the San Antonio Military OMS Residency Program. After graduating residency, he was stationed at RAF Lakenheath, UK for 3 years and then stationed at the USAF Academy, CO where he continues to serve. Dr. Wright is responsible for training the AEGD residents at USAFA in exodontia and IV sedation, as well as providing OMS care to the active duty population throughout the Colorado Military Health System. 

Dr. Wright practices full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. At Premier Dental Care, his focus is on dentoalveolar surgery including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, and advanced bone grafting techniques. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Wright is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
